TOP 5 TIPS

Have you ever wondered how some women have such amazing skin?

Well, here are our Top 5 Tips for fantastic skincare with simple advice, being mindful of your skins needs.

01

DIET & HYDRATION

Eat a well balanced diet and keep hydrated. We are what we eat and your diet plays a vital role in the condition of your skin by supplying vitamins and nutrients. Also, your body tends to lose a lot of moisture in the summer, so its important to regularly replenish with water. Water plays a major role in the appearance of your skin.
02

BE SUN SMART

Excessive sun exposure will lead to photo ageing due to UV exposure. This exposure damages or destroys cellular reproductive abilities and degenerates collagen, the building blocks of skin firmness. We know the message slip on protective clothing, slop on 30+ sunscreen 20 minute before going out into the sun, slap on a hat, seek shade and slide on sunglasses.
03

SKINCARE ROUTINE

Have a good skincare routine and start early - don't wait until you see a wrinkle appear. Cleanse morning & night, apply a good moisturizer or treatment cream depending on the condition of your skin, apply an eye cream and exfoliate once a week.
04

SKIN TEST

Australia has the highest rate of skin cancer in the world, seek a medical professional who specialises in dermatological assessments and have your skin examined.
05

INDULGE

Visit a day spa to have a massage and facial every so often - go on, live a little! Your beauty professional can also advise you and assess your skin professionally.

TOO HOT TO HANDLE

We recommend skin care products are kept out of direct sunlight, active ingredients can deteriorate when exposed to light and heat. To make sure your skin care products remain effective for as long as possible, store them in a cool place a drawer or cabinet or even the fridge if you don’t use your skin care on a regular basis.

CHOOSE WISELY

Modern day living has an enormous effect on your skin with contaminants in the air around us interfering with your skin’s normal pH levels.

Generally the skin will release abnormal amounts of oil that is the skin’s defense to these pollutants. The body’s natural detoxification system can become impaired leading to acne and the release of free radicals that speed up the aging process.

When deciding on purchasing anti aging skincare choose quality products that fight the effects of the environment around you and contain cell renewal ingredients.

GLOWING SKIN ROUTINE

As part of a daily routine you should cleanse and moisturise your skin – a cleansing rinse followed by moisturiser in the morning, and more thorough cleanse at night will do (for a more in-depth evening routine, see my video). This will revitalise your skin keeping it feeling fresh and free of contaminants.

Your daily routine can also include eye creams or toners.

Weekly exfoliation is a must in any skincare routine to remove dead skin cells and clear away buildup. Increase frequency with a gently exfoliating face wash if needed.

MOISTURISE

Using a moisturiser on a daily basis is the best defence against dry skin. When is the best time to apply? As soon as you hop out of the shower.

ANTIOXIDANTS

Free radicals kill healthy skin cells. Eat foods high in antioxidants, as they fight against free radicals, saving our healthy cells and preventing damage and aging.

SLEEP

Don't deprive your body and skin of sleep. The skin restores and regenerates itself while you are sleeping and can add longevity to collagen.

EYE LIFT

The skin around your eyes typically shows the first signs of aging. An eye lift cream can help repair prematurely aged skin and dehydration lines.
