DIET & HYDRATION

We are what we eat! What we put into our bodies plays a vital role in the condition of our skin. A healthy supply of vitamins and nutrients keeps your skin in tip top shape, but it doesn’t stop there! The weather can play a role in this too. Remember to stay hydrated in the warmer months as hydration is the key to supple skin.

BE SUN SMART

UV exposure can lead to photo ageing. This exposure damages and destroys cellular reproductive abilities and degenerates the production of collagen, the building blocks of skin firmness. You know the drill! Slip on protective clothing, slop on 50+ sunscreen 20 minute before going out into the sun, slap on a hat, seek shade and slide on sunglasses.

SKINCARE ROUTINE

Have a good skincare routine and start early - don't wait until you see a wrinkle appear. Cleanse morning & night, apply a good moisturiser or treatment cream depending on the condition of your skin, apply an eye cream and exfoliate once a week.

You’re always better safe than sorry right? Australia has the highest rate of skin cancer in the world, seek a medical professional who specialises in dermatological assessments and have your skin examined.

MOISTURISE

Using a moisturiser on a daily basis is the best defence against dry skin. When is the best time to apply? As soon as you hop out of the shower.
